SFP optical transceivers are hot-pluggable modules used for 1G and 100M data transmission. “SFP” stands for Small Form Factor Pluggable, and uses single transmit and receive signals. These modules use LC connectors and comply with RoHS, IEEE and SFP MSA standards.
