QSFP+ DAC are hot-pluggable cables used for 40 Gb/s data transmission. The term “QSFP” stands for Quad Small Form Factor Pluggable, a reference to the initial 4 independent 10 Gb/s channels in the connectors. These cables use copper COAX-wiring and are an ideal low-cost option for short-range applications. QSFP+ DAC are ideal for high-speed transmission in datacenters, cloud computing and hyper-scale transmission and comply with RoHS, IEEE and MSA standards.
